2003 Crab Feed & Auction

On January 25, 2003, the Rotary Club of Santa Rosa West held its 20th Annual CRAB Feed and Auction. The theme was the "ROARING 20's" and the event sold out with over 600 Rotarians, friends and family in attendance. This year's spectacular event was held in the Grace Pavilion at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.

Rotarian notables from around District 5130 were seen, such as, DG Terri Clark and Marty Lay from McKinleyville, DGEE Bruce & Helaine Campbell (Sebastopol), Polio Eradication Chairman & PDG Larry & Jill Myers (Ukiah), GSE Team Leader to Vietnam Larry Connolly (Eureka), Festival of Brotherhood Chairman Rickie Roark (Petaluma), PDG Franz Wartenweiler (Napa) and an entire contingent from our Mother club, The Rotary Club of Santa Rosa (Downtown) .

It's too early to know the final results but the Club is confident that there will be plenty of $$$  for local community projects and the Polio Eradication Program.  We danced the night away to the music of the POYNTLESS Sistars and there was a costume contest for the best roaring 20's outfit.  What a blast we all had!

Winner of diamond bracelet

The Rotary Club of Santa Rosa West was supported by donations from many wineries, local businesses, and dedicated patrons, who once again helped to make this special FUNdraising event a success.  SRW Rotarians, along with the recipient benefit organizations that sustain needy persons in our area, are grateful for your support.

The Feed!

Thank you to Scout Troop 125
