Program:

Susan Nowacki   Robin Marrs
Our Program Director Extraordinaire Susan Nowacki introduced our speaker for today: Robin Marrs. Robin has been a member of our club for the last nine years and spent the last seven months in France. Robin and his wife Elizabeth have a special connection with France, as that is where they were married 41 years ago.

Map of France
O.K. now, Robin told us about many of the wonderful places and villages they visited and tons of culture. They all sounded beautiful, but I can’t pronounce, much less begin to spell, them.

Robin told us about the food: expensive; the architecture: everything is made out of stone; the politics: they really don’t hate us; and the best part: the bar.

I paid particular attention to this part - but the bars are a bit different than here. First off, they actually gather and talk. WHAT!!!! No ESPN???? And they really don’t serve food. WHAT!!! No wings either????

I guess this really wasn’t much like Hooters after all. Oh yeah, the wines. Like here, they are good in some areas and not so good in others.

In all seriousness, sounds like an excellent adventure, dude.

Meeting was adjourned and we were all reminded about the Debunking on Sunday.
