ARNIES HAWAIIN SHIRT DAY JUNE 7TH . Wear your most outrageous shirt and knock Arnies socks off!! Neil Silverman is looking for help with Disneyland tickets and accommodations for the May 28-30 GSE team from the Philippines during their visit to Southern California. Remember the Sonoma County Wine Library's annual fundraiser, Sonoma Odyssey Bayou is on June 12th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Richard's Grove and Saralee's Vineyard. Click on the above link for details. RECOGNITION (a.k.a. Fines)Joe Perez slept on the gym floor in Ukiah as a chaperone for the kids evening activities. Joe, convicted of lust and illicit thoughts was fined $25.00. Bob Marigo agreed to participate in ALL the Rotary Governors Banquet and sang John Lennons song Marigo thought the Gov. said the Lennon Sisters. Ken Kushnir was recognized for his new hacienda on wheels which is 2 feet longer than Duncan Holts. Mr. Bleeding Heart was so generous to pass on his good fortune to Ron Street for the sum of $25.00. Several "Bulls" were recognized for their birthdays this month, including your bulletin writer. Craft Talk: Paula WrenShe was so excited, that she told us all about her business, but left out the important personal "stuff." She is a business writer. An evolving vocation. She works actively with seniors and senior issues, homes and gardens and real estate. Her clients range from plastic surgeons to a manufacturer of sewer cameras. Writers get lots of rejection so Paula reads the funny papers to keep her perspective or she could just talk to Marigo. RaffleTom Boylan won the opportunity to go for the gold marble Oh..so sorry! George Mickelson won the $20.00 PROGRAM: Grandparents Parenting AgainAnne Pierce in 1995 founded Grandparents Parenting Again, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the needs of Grandparents who are raising their own grandchildren due to unforeseen circumstance. The organization provides support groups, family gatherings, conferences and a speakers bureau. Their support group meetings are on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. at 2325 Montgomery Drive. For more information contact Anne Pierce at (707) 522-0242.
