BULLETIN
Annual Hoogland Ranch BBQ Issue

This was a great event, with super company, excellent steak and trimmings from Chef Josef with wine at every table. Those of you who missed it — sorry — costs you $25.00 anyway.

Janet Codding and Phil Talamantes contribute their talents to the set up crew.

Special thanks to our hosts and "sponsors," Pete Hoogland and Bob Bartley; Chris Rosell - Chief Organizer, Chef Josef - food, John Ramzy - bar, and many others who helped — great job!!

Our two silver fox architects discuss Hoogland's vernacular architecture.

President Jim Valinoti graciously kept the speeches to a minimum. Actually, very few paid attention anyway - with the Monday night football game and all.

Dennis Crandall & Jim Valinoti ponder fundraising.

Jim Underhill did not get the lucky marble for $680, and Dennis Crandall put his $25 toward a cruise raffle ticket.

The unofficial football pool seemed heavily weighted in favor of Brian Herndon as of the 1st half.

Bartender John Ramzy pours one for Ken Dansie.

"Pick Your Dream" Travel Extravaganza

SELL, SELL, SELL! Few days, many tickets to go! Dennis Crandall gave a great coach style pep talk to boost Windstar Cruise raffle ticket sales - 400 so far, still need to move 600; keep up the good work everyone. The deadline is October 6. To help advertise the Raffle, contact Terry Price for posters to hang at your place of business. Dennis renewed the invitation to all of us to the Party on October 13, 1997, at the Cantina Restaurant where the winning ticket will be drawn! Spirits will be lifted and no doubt consumed. The party will function as a Club Meeting and will be mandatory.
