The headline is:
Open your Rotarian at page 44 and read about our Quad Club SOS program.
Two Piner High School Students of the month were introduced by Bob Zeni. They are Quyinh Nguyen and Brian Rummel. Both headed to Universities. Quyinh says that she is going to study engineering or Computer Science. Hey, she's going to marry and have kids too! How refreshing! Brian, he's going to do engineering, too, and wants to be a college professor. He likes the pay. John Palmer was pointed out to him as an example of what he could become. John was smiling!
Four new members were inducted, they are:
Sallie Kennedy, classification - Medical Equipment.
William Dodson, Architect.
John Ramzy, Investments.
Bo Simons, Librarian.
Matt Myers has taken a job with the Boy Scouts in San Jose. Lots of luck Matt, well miss you!
Jim Valinoti and Janet Codding are both 50 years of age. Janet is now custodian of the "50" hat and paid $50 for being 50.
Martin Miller-Hessel (below left) is retiring from the Knox Presbyterian Church. He will need a new classification he says, although "Beach Bum" will do for the time being. This cost him $25 plus $50 (which he volunteered) for the early retirement.

Someone tried to nail Bob Miller (above right) for having a birthday. Bob, however, is a bleeding heart.
No one won the raffle: 47 marbles $340. Patsy Barnes won the $20 and donated it to the Preschool.
Never been to a Crushers game? Well, you must, must, must. If you have, and do. Keep on going. It's wonderful family entertainment! If you lose interest in the game you can just watch people eating! Wait for the next absurd performance from the abominable Sonoman and wonder if a ball falling from the blue sky is going to hit you on the head or be caught by the little zealot in the seat behind you! You can't actually get to sleep because they do noisy things to keep you alert. Oh, yes. They play nice baseball too.
Kevin Wolsky (right) from the Crushers was our speaker and he conveyed all this to us. So go, and keep going.
Monday, March 3: Past Presidents Day
Monday, March 10: "Support Our Students Program is Working!" -- This week learn more about the problems students face growing up in today's society. SSU Counselors will share a few of their experiences during sessions with Santa Rosa students and their parents. Some of their stories may be hard to believe. Counseling is part of the SOS Program, founded and supports by the four Rotary Clubs of Santa Rosa. The SOS Program has received several awards from our community during the last two years. Rotary can and will make a difference in our community by supporting programs such as SOS!
Monday, March 17: We shall be having an evening meeting. If you miss you'll need to make up.
April 19: District assembly in Ukiah
